Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)

Version: 16.02.2026

1) Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all contracts for the supply of goods concluded between a consumer or business customer (hereinafter “Customer”) and Combec Computer-Technik Business-Engineering & Consulting GmbH, Holzkoppelweg 23, 24118 Kiel, Germany (hereinafter “Seller”), via the online shop shop.combec-kiel.de.

Any conflicting or deviating terms of the Customer do not apply unless the Seller expressly agrees to them.

2) Conclusion of contract

Product presentations in the online shop are not legally binding offers, but an invitation to place an order.

By completing the checkout process, the Customer submits a binding order for the goods in the shopping cart. The contract is concluded when the Seller accepts the order by sending an order confirmation email or by dispatching the goods. The automated order receipt confirmation does not constitute acceptance.

The contract text is stored by the Seller. Order details and these T&Cs are sent to the Customer by email and/or made available in the customer account, if a customer account exists.

3) Customer account / registration (no guest checkout)

Placing an order requires registration and a customer account (no guest checkout). The Customer must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep login credentials confidential.

4) Prices, shipping costs, duties/taxes

All prices are stated in EUR and include statutory VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.

Shipping costs are shown separately during checkout. Details: Shipping costs.

We ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Any duties/taxes payable in the destination country are taken into account and calculated/charged as part of the processing where this is possible for the respective destination.

5) Delivery area, delivery, local collection

Delivery is available worldwide, provided the destination country is selectable during checkout and serviceable for the chosen products/shipping method.

Available shipping/fulfilment methods include: DHL, DPD, freight forwarding, and local collection. Freight forwarding deliveries are generally made to the curbside (“kerbside delivery”), unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Delivery times are stated in the shop and/or during checkout. For local collection, the Seller will notify the Customer once the goods are ready for pickup.

6) Payment

The following payment methods are available (depending on selection during checkout):

  • PayPal (incl. PayPal Express)
  • Amazon Pay
  • Invoice (payment on account)

For invoice purchases, the invoice amount is due within 7 days from the invoice date without deductions, unless agreed otherwise.

Note: When paying via payment service providers (e.g. PayPal, Amazon Pay), their additional terms and conditions apply.

7) Retention of title

The goods remain the property of the Seller until full payment of the purchase price has been received.

8) Warranty (statutory rights)

Statutory warranty rights apply. For business customers, the warranty period for new goods may be limited to one year from delivery, where legally permissible.

9) Liability

The Seller is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health.

In cases of slight negligence, the Seller is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.

Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

10) Right of withdrawal

Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are set out in the Withdrawal Policy.

11) Contract language

The contract language is German.

12) Dispute resolution / consumer arbitration

The Seller is willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Further information regarding the competent arbitration board and the procedure will be provided upon request.

Note: The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform has been discontinued as of 20.07.2025. Therefore, no link/reference is used.

13) Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive the consumer of mandatory protections of the law of the country of their habitual residence.

If the Customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is the Seller’s registered office, unless an exclusive place of jurisdiction applies.
