Electrical equipment take-back

Return and recovery of the Order-it Foto Kiosk for business users.

Provisional version: This page contains marked placeholders for device-specific information. These details will be added.

Which equipment is covered?

This information covers the Order-it Foto Kiosk supplied by ComBEC, a commercial photo kiosk terminal / POS kiosk system with an integrated monitor. The take-back scheme applies to equipment intended for use outside private households (B2B).

The take-back arrangements described here apply to this kiosk system. They do not classify all other products in the ComBEC Shop as B2B equipment. Returning waste equipment for disposal is a separate process; information on the consumer right of withdrawal is available in our withdrawal information.

Arrange a return

When your Order-it Foto Kiosk becomes waste equipment, please contact us before shipping it. You can reach us by email, by telephone or through our contact page.

ComBEC GmbH
Holzkoppelweg 23 · 24118 Kiel · Germany
Email: info@combec-kiel.de
Phone: +49 (0) 431 546 230

If possible, provide the device type, serial number, location and condition. We will agree the return arrangements with you. Depending on the condition, suitability for transport and packaging volume, we will provide a parcel return label or arrange collection on a pallet through a logistics partner or our own vehicles.

Costs, reuse and recovery

Under our take-back scheme, take-back is free of charge for business customers unless a different arrangement has been agreed individually, for example regarding transport costs.

Returned equipment is first assessed for reuse. Suitable equipment and components are checked technically and visually, refurbished and used for repairs or further commercial use.

Equipment and remaining components that cannot be reused are sent for proper recovery. The take-back concept names Ziems Recycling Malchow GmbH & Co. KG, Am Güterbahnhof, 17213 Malchow, Germany, as the initial treatment operator.

Before returning equipment

Separate collection

Waste electrical equipment must not be put in household waste. Return it separately for reuse or proper treatment. Collect and transport equipment in a way that preserves the possibility of reuse and recycling and minimises fire risks.

Batteries and lamps

Before handing over equipment, remove waste batteries that are not enclosed within it, and lamps that can be removed without damage, separately and without damage. Statutory exceptions apply to equipment specifically set aside for preparation for reuse. In that case, agree the preparation with us.

[PLACEHOLDER: Device-specific removal instructions] Information on batteries, rechargeable batteries and lamps actually fitted to the Order-it Foto Kiosk, and their safe removal, will be added.

Erase personal data

You are responsible for erasing personal data stored on the waste equipment before returning it. Back up any data you need beforehand.

[PLACEHOLDER: Data erasure instructions] Instructions for the storage media and device software used in the Order-it Foto Kiosk will be added.

Meaning of the crossed-out wheeled bin

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol identifies electrical equipment that must be collected separately from household waste at the end of its use.

[PLACEHOLDER: Marking and registration] An illustration of the device marking and the confirmed German WEEE registration number for ComBEC / Order-it Foto Kiosk will be added.
